Aiko said to Mamam that she wanted to go to school, just like Kakak Hikari.

My Brother and Me

This is my brother Hikari. He was 9 years old when I was born. He loves me very much. He always watches me sleep and kisses me whenever he can.
This photo was taken when I was around 10 days old. Hikari said I was so small that he wanted to hold me in his arms forever.

Close to the Heart

This is Aiko when she was two months old.

Jakarta -or Cibubur to be exact- was in the middle of the hot and dry season. Babies struggle with hot and dry weather like that. They cannot be kept inside the bedroom all day, of course. The weather tires mothers twice as much. 

I put Aiko in a baby wrap. Unlike sling, a baby wrap let her stay near my body -my chest- tightly while I can use my two hands freely. Because she was near my heartbeat, she could sleep soundlessly.

Aiko Anadia Hardian

Aiko Anadia Hardian was born on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 23:07 night. She was 48 cm long and 2.98 kg. She was born at Permata Cibubur Hospital through an operation.

Her name, Aiko Anadia, means a little girl who is loved and hoped for. May God bless this little sister of Hikari with happiness, health, and prosperity. May Aiko become a sholehah.
